Surrey Tamil School provides high-quality Tamil classes that help students learn and grow in both the Tamil language and its rich culture. Our classes are designed to develop reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through engaging and interactive methods. We create an enjoyable learning environment using stories, games, and cultural activities.
Our institution follows the curriculum of the Tamil Education Development Council (TEDC), offering classes from early years (Mazhalai and Paalai levels) up to Valar Tamil Level 6. After this, students are prepared for the GCSE (O/L) examinations based on the University of Cambridge curriculum. Our goal is to build a strong foundation so that students at all levels can learn Tamil with confidence.
In addition to learning the language, students are encouraged to express themselves confidently through participation in class assemblies and activities. A special feature of our assemblies is that they are initiated by students reciting Thirukkural. Furthermore, we host an annual event called ?Tamil Amudham,? where all students are given the opportunity to showcase their talents on stage.
