Coffee mornings are held from 9.30 to 10.30 on most Saturdays where parents, governors and comittee members discuss various subjects. We invite experts to share their knowledge. The past discussions included:
Online Safety
Self Defence
Finacial Advice (mortgate, insurance etc.,)
Council and Social Security matters
Women's Health Issues
Will writing

All are welcome to contribute and learn from these sessions and share a cup of tea.
Dr Meera Gowripalan provided discussed women's health issues with mothers of Surrey Tamil School students.
In the first part Mrs Chithra Somasundaram provided advise on the necessity for a Will for all.
Mrs Somasundaram has kindly agreed to contiue to the discussion on 15 Feb. In part II, she will provide further details on writing a Will.
Mr Arnold Anandan provided some hints and tips to parents on financial matters at the coffee morning.
Mrs Shathies Rameswaran a parent and a solicitor, conducted an awareness session for parents on child abuse, especiallly what is perceived as a child abuse in the eyes of the law.
Consultant pediatrician Dr Umasunthar provided advice on food allergy that can affect children and adults.
It was a very informative mroning for the parents.
