திருமதி கமலினி நாகமுத்து
திருமதி கமலினி நாகமுத்து அவர்கள் தனது ஆரம்பக் கல்வியை யாழ்/சண்டிலிப்பாய் இந்து மகா வித்தியாலயத்திலும், உயர்கல்வியை யாழ்/மானிப்பாய் மகளிர் கல்லூரியிலும் பயின்றுள்ளார்.
சிறுவயது முதலே தமிழ்மொழி மீது மிகுந்த ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்ததால், உயர்தரக் கல்வியில் தமிழை ஒரு பாடமாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து கற்று அதில் சிறந்த பெறுபேற்றைப் பெற்றார். தொடர்ந்து, யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் வெளிவாரி இளங்கலைமாணிப் பட்டப்படிப்பையும் பயின்றுள்ளார்.
மேலும், யாழ் கொக்குவில் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்லூரியில் தமிழ் சுருக்கெழுத்துக் கல்வியைக் கற்று அதில் சிறப்புத் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றார். அதன் பின்னர், சண்டிலிப்பாய் பிரதேச செயலகத்தில் தமிழ் சுருக்கெழுத்தாளராகப் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.
திருமணத்திற்குப் பின்னர் இத்தாலி நாட்டிற்குச் சென்ற அவர், 2006 முதல் 2012 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை தமிழர் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டுப் பேரவையின் இத்தாலி மேற்பிராந்திய உதவி இணைப்பாளராகச் சேவையாற்றினார்.
2012 ஆம் ஆண்டு இலண்டனுக்கு குடிபெயர்ந்த அவர், English Development Courses-ஐப் பயின்று ESOL Level 1 தகைமையை வெற்றிகரமாகப் பெற்றார்.
தமிழ்ச் சிறார்களுக்கு தமிழைக் கற்பிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆவலுடன், 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் சறே தமிழ் பாடசாலையில் உதவி ஆசிரியையாக இணைந்து வளர்நிலை 2 மற்றும் வளர்நிலை 3 மாணவர்களுக்கு தமிழ் கற்பித்தார். பின்னர், 2020 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஆசிரியையாக தொடர்ந்து பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். மேலும், தமிழர் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டுப் பேரவையால் ஆண்டுதோறும் நடத்தப்படும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கான பயிற்சிப் பட்டறைகளில் தொடர்ந்து பங்கேற்று, தனது கற்பித்தல் திறனையும் கற்பித்தல் முறையையும் மென்மேலும்
மேம்படுத்தி வருகின்றார். தற்போது வளர்நிலை1 மாணவர்களுக்கு தமிழ் ஆசிரியையாக அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார்.
Mrs. Kamalini Nagamuthu
Mrs. Kamalini Nagamuthu completed her primary education at Jaffna/Sandilipay Hindu Maha Vidyalayam and her secondary education at Jaffna/Manipay Ladies’ College.
From an early age, she developed a deep interest in the Tamil language. As a result, she chose Tamil as a subject for her GCE Advanced Level studies and achieved excellent results. She subsequently pursued the External Bachelor of Arts degree programme at the University of Jaffna.
She also studied Tamil Shorthand at the Kokuvil Technical College, Jaffna, where she obtained a distinction. Following this, she worked as a Tamil Shorthand Typist/Stenographer at the Sandilipay Divisional Secretariat.
After her marriage, she moved to Italy, where she served as the Assistant Regional Coordinator (Italy Region) of the Tamil Education Development Council from 2006 to 2012.
In 2012, she relocated to London, where she completed English Development Courses and successfully obtained the ESOL Level 1 qualification.
Driven by her passion for teaching Tamil to young learners, she joined the Surrey Tamil School as an Assistant Teacher in 2017, teaching students in Development Levels 2 and 3. Since 2020, she has continued to serve as a Tamil Teacher. She also regularly participates in the annual teacher training workshops organised by the Tamil Education Development Council, continually enhancing her teaching skills and instructional methods.
She is currently dedicated to teaching Development Level 1 students with commitment and enthusiasm.
