Bharathanatiyam – Smt Nalayini Rajadurai
Smt Nalayini Rajadurai had her Bharathanatiyam tutelage under the guidance of Dr Pathma Subramaniyam and Santha Thananchayan in Chennai. She also graduated in Kathakali under the guidance of Vel Ananthan in Sri Lanka and Guru Gopinath in Kerala. She has been teaching Bharathanatiyam for more than 30 years and staged more than 40 Arangetrams.
Violin – Shri Durai Balasubramanian
Shri Durai Balasubramanium had his Carnatic Violin tutelage with his father, the late Shri TS Duraiswamy, the former Professor of Carnatic Violin at Annamalai University. At the early of age, he was crowned with the title Lavahusa by Thirumuruga Kiripanantha Variyar Swamikal. He was a violin lecturer in Tamil Nadu Music College and is recognised by All India Radio as a top ranking artist. Many of his students have gone on to become established musicians themselves.
Miruthangam - Shri A Somasundara Desigar
Shri Somasundara Desigar commenced his tutelage under Great Mruthanga Vidwan Tanjoor Sri AS.Ramanathan and advanced training under the renowned Miruthanga Maestro, Guru Kaaraikkudi R Mani. Somasundara Desigar accompanied many leading musicians and performed in several concerts and festivals all over the world. He has been teaching Miruthangam in London for over 20 years and staged several Arangetrams
Flute – Shri Pitchaiappah Gnanavarathan
Shri Pitchaiappah Gnanavarathan had his Flute tutelage with Sangeetha Vidwan N Somasundaram and continued with his father Kalasoori TV Pitchaiappah and obtained Sangeetha kalavithahar from the oriental music society Sri Lanka. He has been teaching Flute for more than 18 years and staged more than 25 Arangetrams. Sri Gnanavarathan is recognised on a global scale, performing as a soloist and an accompanying artist in many countries
Vocal - Smt Vane Prathaban
Smt Vane Prathaban holds a first class Bachelor of Music degree in vocal from the Annamalai University. She hails from a family of musicians like her late mother "Sangeetha Bhooshanam" Smt Yajnadevi Kanthavanathan and her sister Smt Neethimathy Tharmakulasingham who is a Veena teacher. At University she has won several prizes and participated in many music competitions within and outside of the faculty. Her students regularly receive high grades in their vocal exams conducted by Oriental Examination Board, London.
Vocal - Mrs Bavanuja Kajakaran
Mrs Bavanuja Kajakaran was exposed to vocal, violin and pannisai at an early age of 6. She obtained her prestigious degree in vocal music in first class in 2015 from Ramanathan academy. Further she achieved Sangeetha Kalaviththakar. She has received many gold medals at competitions and performances for her unique talent in Sri Lanka. Bavanuja is highly acclaimed as a vocal artist with several performances and Arangetrams in Sri Lanka and United Kingdom.
