வளர்தமிழ் மூன்றானது TEDCஇன் பாடத்திட்டத்திற்கு அமைவாக கற்பிக்கப்படுகிறது.
இவ்வகுப்பில் இரண்டு நூல்களை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு கற்பித்தல் நடைபெறுகிறது.ஒன்று பாடநூல் இரண்டாவது பயிற்சி நூல்..இரண்டு நூல்களிலும் தமிழ் இலக்கண இலக்கிய வரலாற்று விடயங்கள் உள்ளடக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.மற்றும் தமிழ்ப் புலவர்கள் சாதனையாளர்கள் பற்றிய செய்திகளும் தமிழர் பண்டிகைகள்,அவர்கள் பரந்துவாழும் நாடுகள் பற்றிய செய்திகளும் மேலும் பல பயனுள்ள தகவல்களும் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.இவை அனைத்தும் மாணவர்களின் அன்றாட நிகழ்வுகளோடு ஒத்து போகும் வகையில் அமைந்துள்ளன.பயிற்சி நூலில் வினைச்சொற்களை முக்காலங்களில் சொல்லவும் எழுதவும் பயிற்சிகள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.இதனால் மாணவர்கள் தாங்களாகவே சொல்லியங்களை உருவாக்கி எழுத கற்றுக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.இது தவிர வாசித்தலுக்கும்
பேசுதலுக்கும் தனித்தனியே நூல்கள் உள்ளன.இவை இரண்டும் அவர்களின் வயதிற்கு ஏற்ப இலகுவான மொழிநடையில் அமைந்துள்ளன.இவற்றைக் கொண்டு வகுப்பில் வாசித்தல் பயிற்சியும் பேசுதல் பயிற்சியும் கொடுக்கப்படுகின்றன.மற்றும் பாடநூலில் ஒவ்வொரு அலகிலும் ஒலிவட்டும் அப்பாடத்திற்கு அமைவாக இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.இவற்றைக்கொண்டு கேட்டல் பயிற்சியும் மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
அதுமட்டுமல்லாது ஒவ்வொரு தவணையிலும் மாணவர் ஒன்றுகூடல் நடைபெறும்.இது அவர்கள் அந்த தவணையில் படித்த விடயமாக இருக்கும்.இவ்வொன்று கூடலானது மாணவர்கள் தாங்கள் கற்றதை ஏனையோர் முன் செய்து காட்டுவதற்கு ஒரு வாய்பாகவும் அவர்களின் மேடைப்பயத்தைப் போக்கும் வகையிலும் அமைகிறது.அத்துடன் ஆண்டு இறுதியில் “தமிழமுதம் “நிகழ்வு நடைபெறும்.அதற்காக மாணவர்களை ஆசிரியர்கள் தயார்படுத்தி மேடை ஏற்றுவதும் இவ்வகுப்பில் நடைபெறும்.

We teach year 3 students according to the TEDC syllabus.This class is based on two main books,one is the theory book and the other is the work book.Within these two books tamil grammar,literature and history are included.On top of this there is also descriptions about tamil poets,achievers,festivals and other countries,as well as knowledgeable information that may be needed in their daily lives.In the work book there is a lot of practice about verbs in all three tenses,because of this they are able to form sentences by themselves.We teach this to our students according to their level of understanding.Other than this,there are also two separate books ,one on reading and the other on speech.these are written in simple terms,in a way children are able to understand.Using these books we make sure to teach them how to read and speak in tamil.In the theory book each chapter has an audio clip attached to it to improve their listening skills,which is used in class.
In each term there is student assembly which showcases something they have learnt that term,where they are given a chance to perform in front of people and reduce their stage fright.At the end of the year there is a programme called “thamizhamutham” where the teachers of each class prepare a performance for their students to perform on stage.
